Architectural Modification Applications
Before an owner can modify anything on the exterior of their home or lot, they must first submit an application to the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) and receive written approval.
The application for your community can be found on the VMS web site, along with the current Architectural Design Guidelines that the committee uses when reviewing applications.
Most Architectural Review Committees only meet once a month to review and consider applications. Most governing documents allow the committee 45 days to act upon an application. While it seldom takes this long for a decision on an application, please allow the committee time to review and respond before signing any contracts, ordering any supplies, or beginning your project.
