Selling your home? One of the documents Virginia law requires you to obtain is the Resale or Disclosure Documents for your property. These documents contain information on any unresolved covenant violations on your property, information about your HOA, assessment information, and the governing documents for your community. Only the seller or seller's agent may purchase and receive these documents.
